Lá Fhéile Pádraig is around the corner and we’re all looking forward to celebrate what’s good about being Irish.
For the occasion, the Celtic Whiskey Club and Celtic Whiskey Shop are delighted to offer
a lucky winner the latest and finest of our Celtic Casks: Celtic Cask 15.
Celtic Cask 15 is our first port cask matured release. It initially spent 23 years in a bourbon barrel before being transferred to a single port pipe from Quinta do Noval. This is a double distilled single malt with some subtle smokiness and delicious flavours of orange, marmalade, cherries, cola and ginger.
The Celtic Cask Series is a range born from our strong relationship with Irish distilleries and various European bodegas and wine houses. We've been able to hand-pick some of more interesting distillates from the length of the country, both single malt and single pot still. We then mature or finish them in great casks from Spain, Portugal and Italy. Sherry, port, madeira and other wine casks have added richness and complexity to the spirit, from the spicy exotic fruits of Celtic Whiskey Cask Se to the rich Christmas cake aromas of the Celtic Whiskey Cask Tri Deag.
